Attend our free online Identifying Musical Talent and Potential training session!

On Thursday 25 April we’re hosting an online introductory session to our acclaimed Identifying Musical Talent and Potential training (ITP). Delivered for free thanks to AYM’s Arts Council NPO funding, ITP tackles one of the biggest obstacles to young people’s musical progress – identifying those with talent and potential, especially in whole class or larger group settings.

This inclusive classroom approach offers a different lens through which to spot the musical spark in your students, which might otherwise go unnoticed. In this session we will share our 8 Facets of Musical Potential framework and explore these through musical games and observation.

Sessions have previously been delivered across England – online and in-person – as part of Hub INSET days, at conferences or as twilight training sessions. For the first time ever, this session is available to those wishing to attend as an individual.

This training will be of interest to peripatetic teachers, whole-class teachers, ensemble leaders, primary class teachers, secondary music specialists, music students and trainee music leaders.

Spaces are limited so save the date and book your spot now to avoid disappointment.
