Three new Music Education Hubs join Furthering Talent
Following an open application process, we have now finished recruiting the next Music Education Hubs who will be joining the next phase of our Furthering Talent programme in 2019. We are extremely pleased to announce that Bradford, Hull and Sheffield will begin delivery of Furthering Talent this coming spring. A further two Hubs will begin delivery in the autumn and they will be announced in due course.
Head of Music Education, Sheffield Music Hub
“We are delighted to be partnering with Awards for Young Musicians Furthering Talent programme. This is a game changer for talented children and young people in Sheffield who face barriers to their musical progression. Exciting times!”
Head of Hull Music Service, Lead Partner for Hull Music Hub
“I am delighted that we have been selected for AYM’s Furthering Talent programme for 2019. Building on Hull City Council’s strong support for the Music Service and Hull’s City of Culture status, Furthering Talent will enable us to make musical progression a sustainable reality for those in most need of our support”.
Assistant Head of Bradford Music & Arts Service
“Bradford Council’s Music & Arts Service, lead partner for the Bradford Music Education Hub, is delighted to be working with Awards for Young Musicians. The support we will receive means we can increase learning opportunities for children who show musical promise in the Bradford District.”
