Read moreDear all
We are working as hard as ever to support the young people on our Awards and Furthering Talent programmes alongside their families and the fantastic music leaders who work with them. In light of the latest government advice for coronavirus we would like to let you know what adjustments are being made at AYM.
We have postponed all fundraising events, workshops and performance platforms until further notice. The closure of schools and music centres means that in-person instrumental lessons will be postponed for Furthering Talent students, and for most of our Award winners, although in many cases online alternatives should be possible.
Our Awards programme is still open for applications, with the deadline set for Monday 27 April and we are currently reviewing the application process to ensure that families and music leaders receive the support they need to complete their applications. We’d really appreciate any ways in which you could continue to help spread the word to young people and their families. Click here to download our Awards promotional materials which you can share however you feel appropriate. Thank you!
AYM does not have an office and our team have always worked remotely. We are grateful that our core operation can continue without major disruption. However we are normally a very mobile team, traveling frequently for meetings and events across the UK. We will not be travelling until further notice and, like everyone, we’ll be using technology as much as possible.
Please feel free to continue to contact AYM as normal:

With our very best wishes to everyone
